# Welcome to FU Capital

## About the Product

FU Capital is a decentralized Web3 platform that democratizes the debt capital markets by offering a "Marketplace Lending" or "Peer-to-Peer Lending" experience to individuals and institutions alike. Unlike traditional banking, FU Capital connects borrowers directly with liquidity, eliminating middlemen like banks. Through our platform, you can add funds towards borrowers seeking funds, earning potentially higher interest than what you'd find with bank fixed deposits and mutual funds. At the same time, borrowers benefit from lower interest rates on loans.

Our platform leverages blockchain technology—think of it as a highly secure digital ledger—to manage all transactions seamlessly. This ensures transparency, security, and efficiency.

## Why Choose FU Capital?

With FU Capital, you get better interest and more control over your capital. Our platform is designed to provide financial services to those who might be excluded by traditional banking systems, all while giving you on-chain access to high-yield, real-world assets. Investing via only stablecoins, FU Capital offers the functionality to add funds and exit positions using your cryptocurrency wallet alone.

## What FU Capital Does

FU Capital is at the forefront of decentralized finance (DeFi), specializing in connecting users who provide liquidity with real-world assets through blockchain technology. Here's how it works:

* **Lenders:** Lenders (e.g. FinTechs) seeking liquidity for their loan portfolios via listing on our platform.
* **FU Capital:** We assess the risks and potential returns of these assets, conducting thorough due diligence on your behalf.
* **On-Chain Listing:** We make these opportunities visible to users on our platform.
* **User:** You, as a User, can directly fund these opportunities by deploying funds, and earn returns based on terms set in the smart contracts.
* **Blockchain Technology:** Our platform operates on the same secure, transparent system that powers cryptocurrencies like Ethereum, ensuring that every transaction is recorded immutably.

## How It Works

Let’s say you want to add funds to a loan that offers a high rate of interest. Here’s how FU Capital simplifies the process:

1. A lender lists the loan(s) on behalf of the borrower.
2. You discover this opportunity on FU Capital's platform and decide how much to deploy using coins (USDC/USDT).
3. An Agreement of Sale is created between you and the FU Capital platform, outlining the interest, loan amount, and the protocol in case of loan default.
4. The borrower receives your funding.
5. You start earning interest automatically, according to the loan tenure and agreed-upon rate of interest.

## Maximum Supply

The FU Token has a maximum supply of 1,000,000,000 FUT, which Management plans to reduce over time through the burning mechanism. Once the FUT token sale has been completed, the Company will use the profit share mechanism to buy back the tokens to be burned.

## Token Allocation

The allocation of FUT tokens is as follows:

* **Community Sale (50%):** 500,000,000 FUT
  * Purpose: To raise capital for platform development, ecosystem expansion, regulatory compliance, and operational scaling. The presale offers early supporters and strategic partners the opportunity to acquire tokens at preferential rates, fostering long-term alignment and early network effects.
  * Release: 100% available at Token Generation Event (TGE)
* **Treasury (20%):** 200,000,000 FUT
  * Purpose: Reserved for funding research and development, platform upgrades, and maintaining a risk reserve for unforeseen circumstances.
  * Release: 5% available at TGE, with the remainder released linearly over 60 months.
* **Public Sale (10%):** 100,000,000 FUT

## Token Utility

FUT tokens serve multiple roles within the FU Capital ecosystem:

* **Governance:** Holders of FUT can participate in platform governance, voting on proposals and contributing to the direction of the platform’s development.
* **Staking:** Users can stake FUT tokens to earn rewards and increase their user level, unlocking additional platform benefits such as lowered fees, enhanced LP yield and increased add funds and withdrawal limits.
* **Transaction Fees:** FUT can be used to cover transaction fees within the platform, providing a utility for users engaging in both primary and secondary markets.
* **Platform Rewards:** FUT is used to incentivize platform activities, including community engagement, referrals, and participation in gamification features.

## Token Burn Mechanism and Buyback

To manage supply and support the token’s value, FU Capital is implementing periodic token burns. A portion of platform profits will be used to buy back FUT tokens on the market and burn them, effectively reducing the total supply and increasing value for remaining holders.

# FAQ

#### **What assets am I even funding?**

When you add funds to buy a LP token on FU Capital, you're getting fractionalized exposure to a debt portfolio. This portfolio consists of many loans to various real-world businesses, packaged into a single instrument. The collection of loans is then split into smaller shares and sold as LP tokens. Each LP token represents a small portion of the overall loan portfolio. As individual businesses repay their debt with interest, this interest is distributed as cash flow to the LP token holders.

#### What are the Risks?

By deploying funds on FU Capital, you are exposed to the credit risk of the asset owner, also known as the lender, which refers to the various FinTechs and institutions offering opportunities on our platform. All interest and loan default risks are absorbed by the asset owner. Your capital is secured by the asset owner's balance sheet and regulated by smart contracts. The primary risk you face is the possibility of the asset owner's default.

#### Who is the Team behind FU Capital?

FU Capital's founding team consists of seasoned professionals with over 30 years of experience in traditional finance, 15 years in lending, and a decade in blockchain businesses. The team has a proven track record, including successful FinTech startups with zero defaults across all their ventures.

#### How do I know that the assets are even real?

We understand the challenge of verifying crypto opportunities, which is why we perform thorough due diligence on every asset owner on our platform. This includes verifying balance sheets and loan portfolios. Initial asset owners are also partly owned by our group, ensuring oversight, performance, and minimized risks.

#### How Safe is FU Capital?

FU Capital prioritizes safety with strong compliance controls, including KYC, AML, and legal recourse. All transactions are regulated by smart contracts and are subject to a strict technical audit regime, safeguarding funds against potential threats.

#### How Can I Exit my Position?

There are two ways to exit your position on FU Capital. First, you can sell your LP tokens on the secondary market, similar to selling fixed-income securities. These LP tokens have a fair market value based on their promise of future income and their redeemable value upon maturity. The second option is to hold the LP tokens to maturity, at which point the repayment of debt will "buy back" the LP tokens at its original notional loan amount.
